Cora's birthday fell on the Wednesday of our week at Maranata, and we had a long afternoon out together, visiting Londrina, one of the large cities of Northern ParanĂ¡. This portrait was taken in Baby Buffalo - an excellent restaurant where we lunched – as the name suggests, not a place for vegetarians!

Hallo Andrew and Cora,
I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew's father at the FIEC conference in the spring and he gave me the web address for the church in Caterham so I could contact you. And at last, here I am.
Life with me goes on much the same. I'm living with the same (unsaved) husband in the same house, doing the same job in the same hospital, and serving the same Lord at the same church. Still taking the same anti-depressants. But I'm OK.
My mum continues in excellent health and independence, despite her failing sight.
It's good to catch up on all your activities and how the Lord is dealing with you. Which universities are Tom and Bec going to, and what are they studying? Is Tom a Christian? I remember Bec's baptism very well. Did you know all three of Philip Wells' children have professed faith in Christ?
I see you have contacts in Belo Horizonte, do they include Nelson and Marcia Salviano of "Escale", and their children Camila and Andre? They are friends of Roger and Julie Kinross who spent some time in Hove recently. Marcia is a nurse and came to our health workers' prayer group before they returned to Brazil. Roger and Julie now have three children: Matthew, 7, Chloe, 5, and Jonathan, 11 months.
Ray and I have now been living together again as long as we were living apart, it has worked out well. How glad I am of the counsel you gave me about my marriage when I first came to you, and of the work of the Holy Spirit in persuading me to follow it, since it was not what I wanted to hear at the time.
