Rafa and Greyce Wedding - Part 1
Rafa and Greyce's Civil ceremony took place on Thursday at the Maria Alice Cartório in neighbouring Trindade. We know the place very well - many visits with documents to be notarised for our visa applications, and more recently and happily, Kito and Anna's civil ceremony. This time we had a party in our own party room, with friends and colleagues from work and university, as well as friends from church. The couple asked Andrew to speak from the Bible: this is the first time that I will have had to prepare two distinct messages for one wedding! We are obviously going to charge them double...
A second ceremony will take place at Greyce's home town, São Lourenço do Oeste, in the far west of the state, on 31 March. A good number of the church will be going - a bit of an adventure for us as we have never been so far "in" to Santa Catarina. It will be around 10 hours by car. Greyce's family are all non-evangelicals - please pray especially for the preaching of the gospel on that day.
