Next Week...

On Sunday we will be continuing in the Chapel with Genesis 20 - Abraham lies again regarding Sarah.

On Monday and Tuesday Andrew will be giving modules in Biblical Theology and Introduction to Theology to local Baptist pastors at the Baptist Campground just outside of town. Tuesday will be especially heavy as he will then go immediatey to IBE to teach (three hours) of Biblical Theology - Deuteronomy.

Cora has her girl's class on Wednesday - Andrew at IBE.

On Friday we will travel with Rafael to São Lourenço do Oeste (about 10 hours) for his and Greyce's wedding on the Saturday - rehearsal Friday night, so we leave early.

Renato should be preaching here on Sunday night, while we all return.

Time off...

A morning walk in the park after heavy rain made for some autumn fruitfulness and autumn dampness pictures.

For the first time this year, we made it to the beach... Daniela

First Peregrinos' meeting at the University Chapel...

There were thirty five of us in all - just short of the record of thirty seven. The text was possibly the least likely for the celebration of the first moment in a new building - Gen 19, under the title, "The Destruction of Lot". (Think about it...!) We wanted to maintain maximum continuity with the meeting in our home, so simply to continue in the series seemed the best way. The general feeling was that we have entered a new era as a church, and that the scope for impact and growth is very wide. Please pray on. The meeting is at 5 p.m, if you happen to be in the area...
Comments:
someone should let eric know he's got the guitar the wrong way round...

so exciting!

That's great!

We have a new place to meet, too, and a home for the pastoral family, so we are very thankful. (our current place is being demolished in September!)
